Membership is open to shippers. A shipper a person that engages in shipping, transporting, selling or marketing leafy green products (iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, green leaf lettuce, red leaf lettuce, butter lettuce, baby leaf lettuce (i.e., immature lettuce or leafy greens), escarole, endive, spring mix, spinach, cabbage, kale, arugula, chard or radicchio under his or her own registered trademark or label or a person who first markets the leafy green products for the producer.
Membership is NOT open to retailers. However, anyone is welcome to order our industry-lauded Food Safety Training Kit and adopt the same uniform practices that are employed by our members. The program is compliant with anticipated guidelines established by the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
