Our Food Safety Training Kit (FSTK) was borne out of a need to educate workers at the field level, and encourage the industry to adopt uniform food safety handling practices. Since its inception, it has evolved into a completely engaging program that can be delivered in the field, in a classroom or via video. All materials are produced in both English and Spanish. Field training through Campesinas sin Fronteras
As a benefit to our members, we now offer field training during the busy harvesting season through Campesinas sin Fronteras. This non-profit organization is comprised of professional trainers who have an established rapport with bilingual and monolingual field laborers. They serve migrant & seasonal farm workers and other members of the low-income Hispanic community in Yuma County.
