Arizona Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement (Arizona LGMA) provides rigorous, science-based food safety audits to the Arizona produce industry and is managed by the Arizona Leafy Greens Food Safety Committee. Arizona is the second-largest leafy green producer in the United States.  Arizona Leafy Greens members represent 98% of leafy green products grown in Arizona.

Our goal is to ensure that Arizona’s leafy greens meet food safety standards to protect the health of our communities and instill trust in Arizona’s agriculture programs. These standards are upheld with audits conducted by USDA government-certified auditors to ensure members of Arizona Leafy Greens comply with the Commodity Specific Food Safety Guidelines for Production and Harvest of Lettuce and Leafy Greens.
